2. What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number (optional), delivery address and the items you buy.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Payment details are entered directly into Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- With your consent only: website usage statistics (pages viewed, device type, approximate location).
3. Why we use it
- To take payment, deliver your order and handle returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions (legitimate interest).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies (consent).
4. Who processes your data for us
- Stripe — card payments and payment receipts.
- Royal Mail, Evri and DPD — delivery of your parcel (name, address and phone number only).
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — website statistics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Our hosting and database provider — secure storage of orders and messages on encrypted servers.
- We never sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years, as required for UK tax and accounting.
- Contact messages: up to 2 years after our last reply.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it.
- You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
- To use any of these rights, email support@gartenia.store. We reply within one month.
- You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7. Cookies
- We use essential storage for your basket and cookie choice, and Google Analytics cookies only with your consent. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.
